Unions object to ‘contradictory’ non-EU student fee hike

Finland’s four-party coalition government is investigating ways to tighten immigration policies and introduce full-cost tuition fees for non-European international students in a set of moves perceived by critics to contradict earlier commitments to growing the number of international students in order to attract high-level skills in service of the national workforce.
